I had a discussion with a friend today about the potential arrival of the Drupal 7 Beta version in the coming weeks or months. I had this feeling as I've been watching the bug fix queue for a while and it appeared that the number of bugs has been reduced substantially over the past couple of months. To my great surprise it turned out that the Drupal guys decided to publish the much anticipated Beta release today. I jumped right on the opportunity and installed it quickly. It looks awesome. The user interface is very Web 2.0 and there are a host of new features.

I've been working for a few months now at a data company in Burbank, CA. I'm basically back to producing web sites, but the scope of the work involved overseeing a couple people also.

Going to Europe for a month. Will be back January 15, 2009.
