The revision of my web site is almost complete and when I ask people about it I generally the answers is that it's pretty cool or it's neat and functional. For some reason I think it could be so much more (more appealing, more persuasive, more effective...). However since there is a whole lot of other stuff to do I'm probably going to give it a rest for a while and begin working on my other projects.

I taped a few clips and made a music video for my friends in the Ruination band.

Since the Alpha version of Drupal 7 was released I've been wondering how long it will take to get to the final version, especially because I read some comments saying that there won't be an upgrade path provided. On January 5th Drupal 7 Final arrived and shortly afterward I decided to see if I can upgrade the Alpha release sites (which included this one). As it turns out the upgrade process is manual, but pretty straight forward so I was able to upgrade all of the sites to the final version and encountered only minor issues.

This is my friend's car, and although I haven't been a huge Benz fan in the past I am starting to think that one of these would be really nice to have. The supercharged 5.5-liter V8 engine in this car produces 469 horsepowers, 516 pound-feet of torque, and goes from 0 to 60mph in just over 4 seconds. How is that for making yourself scarce on a short notice?

So yeah, this is probably going to turn into a techno blog of some sort since generally speaking it's my professional area of interest. An it has been ever since I got my hands on a Sinclair ZX80 back in 1988. It seemed like a really awesome idea even though it was very limited in functionality. Knowing all that interesting background about me don't be surprised to see technology related blogs pop up here from time to time along with my other professional and personal life experience ramblings.
