Hobbies

During my childhood my favorite hobbies were fishing, motorcycling, and playing with computers; the last one being the most signifficant in terms of the amount of time dedicated to it. As I was growing up pretty much all of my focus shifted to computers. Later on the computing hobby began to turn into a profession and eventually resulted in running an Internet Service Provider through five years of the .COM bubble.

After the bubble I went back to school and while I was doing that (between 2003 and 2008) my leisure time was generally spent on outdoors activities such as fishing, boating, and traveling.

Since I graduated in May 2008 I've been spending a lot more time once again in front of the computer and much less outdoors. I also haven't done practically any fishing ever since, partially due to the fact that I moved back to the Los Angeles area and sweetwater rivers (my favorite fishing environment) are many hours of driving distance from here. On the other hand taking pictures and making videos had recently become a lot more fun since I got a 15 megapixel Canon SLR with full High Definition video recording capabilities.
